We have been doing pre-marriage counseling with our Pastor. It’s been a great experience for us, and something I would highly recommend if you are getting married. It’s the whole ‘no suprises’ theme, making sure you know your partner well.
He had some words of wisdom, and one I want to share with you, as it really hit home.
He said ‘In all my years of counseling, in the rest homes, hospitals, hospices etc, I never hear the words “I regret what I did”, I always hear “I regret what I didn’t do”.
