Book Review: Life Of Pi

I just finished reading Life of Pi by Yann Martel.

What an amazing book. From start to finish I was on the edge of my seat, wondering, hoping, praying. Amazing to be so enraptured with a book.

The story is based on Piscine Molitor “Pi” Patel, who is shipwrecked, on his own, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, with nothing for company, but a Bengal Tiger.

Pi grows up in a Zoo, as his family own it. They decided to sell up, and move to Canada, and so board a boat, with the animals, to travel there.
A few days out of port, and the boat suddenly sinks, leaving Pi all alone on a lifeboat with a Bengal Tiger named Richard Parker, a hyena, an injured zebra, and an orangutan.
Pi survives 227 days on the lifeboat, before finally being saved.
This story is a capturing story, barely letting go of one excitement, to move onto the next! 5/5 stars, it is an awesome book!
