I think friends are really important to help you through depression, even if it’s just a phone call every now and then, or an email asking how i’m doing.

I’ve realised that a friend that I have is actually making me feel worse about myself. I see her and feel like I’m a bad mum, that I’m imagining that I’m depressed, and I feel worse about things.

It’s taken me the whole 7 months of Saffron’s life to realise that, so it’s a bit rough to know that I have to distance myself from her.
